Ok so starting off, Ellie and Annie spent some time at Millstone Farm while Evan and Peter made the long trip south by way of trailer, truck and Ferry.
Now in Portland, Ellie immediately develops an infatuation with big leaves and has a perma-grin whenever we hand her one of these things.
Who new getting Ellie to brush her teeth. Turn on the Sonicare and you can't snatch the thing away from her.
This photo was taken about 1/3 of the way up Ellie's marathon climb of 33 stairs in Mt. Tabor Park.
Somehow managing to devour corn on the cob with only two front lower teeth.
Ellie all geared up and ready for a climb up Mt. Hood.
We stopped for a lunch break about 5 min into the hike. Later blowing sand turned out to be this little girl's kriptonite so we took a snooze cruise over to Hood River and back to the gorge.
Mmmmm....Bran muffins!
Great times exploring our new neighborhood.
1st Birthday!!! Regardless of what it looks like, she had very little interest in these boxes at all...other than eventually knocking them over.
My new favorite family photo.
Ellie is now starting to give us hugs and it is amazing!
The Portland Children's Museum was kinda a dud, but this stick maze was kinda cool!
Mom was quite happy with this present from Uncle Aaron.
Playing in Eagle Creek in the Gorge
Apparently, a "smash cake" is super cliche nowadays but we thought it was fun so went for it anyway. Possibly the most calories Ellie has ingested in one sitting. Our bets for guaranteed barfing never paid off.
Present from Great Grampa was getting a lot of use.
