A certain someone didn't get the memo that she was supposed to sleep on this walk.

Can't believe two months have passed us by!  Tomorrow brings the arrival of Uncle Aaron, followed by grandpa and grandma, and Auntie Shelia next week.  We are excited!

Moving on to week 7.  Annie and I are starting to go into shock because of how quickly Ellie is growing.  She is now 10.2 lbs! That is a 42% gain since she was born!  She has also been getting a lot more fussy.  Fussy photos are not fun though so below you will see we do have brief though wonderful moments.  Soon some of these smiles will be purposeful, and Annie and I can't wait!

 Ellie had a 'goopy' eye, so we went and got her checked out.  She was a VERY happy baby while on the exam table.  Lots of smiles and kicks.

 Evan and Ellie were up very early one morning to a nice surprise - SNOW!

 One of the very best parts of motherhood is a sleeping baby on your chest.

 We got out for a lovely walk in the SNOW on the Turnagain Arm trail.  Ellie tried out her Baby Bjorn carrier and her polar bear suit.  Both were a success.

 This week Ellie has started to hang out under a bunch of colorful dangly things... she seems to like this floor time when she can gaze at the objects above her.

Only after reviewing these pictures did we notice Ellie had spit up on her mama.... our new normal :)
